A short but complete way to visit the historic capital of the Incas. First you will visit the city of Cuzco, then the second day will be dedicated to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and finally you will finish your visit exploring the famous archaeological site of Machu Picchu. This trip allows you to immerse yourself in Inca history and culture!

A private transport and a representative of the agency will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport (3,400 m) for the transfer to your hotel. Around 13:00, we will go to your hotel to start discovering the city of Cusco: the Plaza de Armas, main square of the town since its foundation in Inca times, the Monastery of Santo Domingo Church built on the foundations of the Koricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) and inside, the most representative jewel of Inca architecture, also, its alleys and authentic constructions of the Inca and colonial times. We will continue visiting the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay, which are located on the outskirts of the city of Cusco. Return to the hotel around 18:00. Overnight in a selected hotel of Cusco.
Breakfast at your hotel. At 7:30 am, a private transport and your guide will pick you up at the hotel to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the village of Pisac (2,972 m), famous for its handicraft market and then, at the top of the mountain we discover the archaeological site of Pisac (3,272 m) which is part of a historical site built with every rich piece of the sacred valley and its Inca communities. Continuing with the trip, we enter the town of Maras Moray: two of the most important tourist centers; Moray is characterized by its various circular terraces with different microclimates and the Salineras de Maras that has been used since pre-Inca times for obtaining and supplying salt in the Cusco region. Then we will take the road to the town of Ollantaytambo, during which we can admire the beautiful landscapes of mountains, peaks and snow-capped mountains. Visit Ollantaytambo (2,800 m), which is considered the last Inca village thanks to its houses and narrow streets, remains of Inca constructions, as well as the archaeological center. The last part of the day is to take the train to reach Aguas Calientes town (2,050 m) located at the foot of Machu Picchu, where we will spend the night.
Breakfast at your hotel. Early in the morning we will board the bus to Machu Picchu citadel. The sunrise and the company of our professional guide will take you to visit the archaeological site, for approximately 3 hours, to learn more about the daily life and culture of the Incas. After having a guided tour, you will enjoy the magic of the historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu for taking some pictures in memory of your own experience. Lunch at the Tinkuy, Sanctuary lodge restaurant: a buffet lunch experience while visiting Machu Picchu!
Then, return to Aguas Calientes town for boarding the train to Ollantaytambo/Poroy, where our transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
Breakfast at your hotel. Private transportation will take you from the hotel to Cusco airport.

Updated Machu Picchu Circuits for Better Visitor Management
The Ministry of Culture of Peru has revised the circuits in the Inca city of Machu Picchu to enhance visitor capacity management. Effective from June 1st to October 15th, and on December 30th and 31st, 2024, three new circuits comprising 10 different routes will be in place to explore Machu Picchu. These new routes aim to streamline visits and offer a better experience while preserving the integrity of this ancient site.
