On March 28, 2018, Explorandino was founded with the purpose of offering travelers authentic and enriching experiences, promoting responsible practices that respect and value culture and natural resources.
Explorandino entered a key growth phase where market research and analysis became priorities. The goal was to ensure an efficient operation aligned with sustainable principles.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the company seized the opportunity to innovate and adapt to new market needs by implementing modern management tools. Through the Business Innovation Program, the company improved its business model.
We implemented a sustainable management system certified by "TourCert," a tool that guides us in redirecting our operations toward economic, social, and environmental sustainability. We also prepared a Sustainability Report with short, medium, and long-term commitments.
Through continuous training with specialized institutions like Promperu, we achieved recognition in the Commercial Program for Tourism Companies. Additionally, training provided by Gercetur focused on ESSNA prevention, capacity building for tourism managers, innovation, and technological tools.
The "Valle de Lares Nuna Andino" project was awarded by ProInnovate. Currently, in collaboration with ProInnovate, the Universidad Andina del Cusco, local communities, and ventures in Valle de Lares and Valle Sagrado de los Incas, a new sustainable operational management model is being developed for regenerative tourism.
We implemented sustainability criteria based on the standards of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), a significant step towards aligning with the best international practices in responsible tourism. Additionally, the company continues its training process with GSTC.
