Wilber Ayerbe Bellota – CEO & Sustainable Tourism Innovator

As the CEO of Explorandino, I am passionate about responsible tourism and committed to creating positive impacts in the beautiful regions of Peru. Through careful planning and development, I work closely with local partners who share our mission of preserving and celebrating our cultural and natural heritage.

I am proud to have been recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), where I was trained and certified in global standards for managing sustainable practices in tourism. My focus is on delivering meaningful and responsible travel experiences that benefit both travelers and the communities we work with.

Nathali Villasante Arroyo – Lawyer

Responsible for social projects in Cusco and its communities. She is also responsible for all the legal issues involved with the development of Explorandino.

Rolando Ayerbe Bellota – Biologist

Responsible for keeping our itineraries green and advising on developing eco-friendly tourism.

Professional Tour Guides

Our staff of multilingual and experienced tour guides are very knowledgeable about the region and will be able to share a thousand anecdotes and exciting episodes of Peru’s history. All our guides have a minimum of 3 years of experience and hold state-recognized certificates of professional qualification. They speak English as well as French, German, Italian, and Spanish as their native language. To join a guide in one of these languages, do not hesitate to contact us!

Chefs – Eco-foodie Gastronomy

Our chefs have been trained at the gastronomy institutes of Cusco. During certain tours and trekking activities, you will enjoy an eco-foodie gastronomic experience, including generous and delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks, hot drinks, and dinners. Our menus include Neo-Andean Peruvian dishes, and we cater to vegetarians, vegans, or other special dietary requests at no additional charge.

In alliance with communities such as Huaca Wasi, Misminay, and Willoc, located in the Valle de Lares and Urubamba district, we promote competitive, differentiated, and sustainable tourism. Together, we develop trekking and hiking programs, demonstrate textile handicrafts, promote local culture, agricultural techniques, Peruvian gastronomy, and provide overnight accommodation in local families’ homes. Our tourist packages also include guided tours of the Machu Picchu citadel.
